Phonics - Wednesday 20th January
Can you say the digraph 'qu'? It does not appear in many words. You can hear the sound in 'queen Elsa'. Did you know it also appears in the sound a duck makes? Quack, quack, quack.
- Draw a picture of a duck and label it with the duck saying the word 'quack' three times. This is a word with two digraphs.
- On a piece of paper write down all the digraphs you know. Hold your pencil like so:
