Pupil Roles and Responsibilities

Understanding roles and responsibilities helps children develop confidence, independence, and respect for others. When pupils learn what is expected of them—whether in the classroom, on the playground, or at home—they begin to recognise how their actions affect the people around them. This builds important life skills such as teamwork, problem‑solving, and empathy. By practising responsibility from a young age, children learn to make positive choices, contribute to their community, and feel proud of what they can achieve.
