Parent Information

At Holwell Primary School, we believe that children thrive when home and school work closely together. Building strong, positive partnerships with families helps create a consistent and supportive environment that enables every child to feel valued and succeed. We communicate regularly with parents and carers, celebrate pupils’ achievements, and encourage open conversations so that we can work as a team to support each child’s learning and wellbeing. By sharing expectations, supporting learning at home, and staying connected, we ensure that all children benefit from a united approach that helps them grow, flourish, and reach their full potential.

Our Commitment to High Standards of Conduct

Holwell Primary School is proud of its high standards of conduct and is committed to ensuring these are upheld at all times. By sending your child to our school, you are formally acknowledging and agreeing to support and comply with the expectations set out in this policy.

We believe that the education of our children is a shared partnership between staff, governors, parents, carers, and the wider community. Together, we play a vital role in modelling positive behaviour and maintaining an environment where every child can thrive. We expect all members of our school community to respect our ethos and values, and to demonstrate behaviour that reflects these—whether on school premises, around the school gates, or when representing the school in the local community and beyond. This includes our Wrap-around Care provision, such as Breakfast Club and After School Club.

Strong, respectful relationships are at the heart of our school. By working together and upholding these shared standards, we help equip our children with the skills, attitudes, and confidence they need for their education and future lives.
