I am very proud of the academic success our children have achieved this year, and it has been a pleasure to watch them progress through the year. Their determination, courage and resilience has resulted in them achieving great success and being ready for the next stage in their educational journey.
Results 2024-2025

In Reception, 66% of our children reached their Good Level of Development at the end of EYFS .

In Year 1, 71% of our children passed their Phonics Screening check.

In Year 6, 88%% of our children reached the expected standard or better in Mathematics, 86% of our children reached the expected standard or better in Reading and 77% reached the expected standard or better in writing.
The children in Year 6 have had a very successful journey through Holwell and this is reflected in the high outcomes they have achieved in their Key Stage 2 SATS which are all above national average for 2025.
National Averages 2025
Percentage meeting expected standard in reading, mathematics and writing was 62%, up from 61% in 2024.
In reading, 75% of pupils met the expected standard, up from 74% in 2024.
In maths, 74% of pupils met the expected standard, up from 73% in 2024.
In writing, 72% of pupils met the expected standard, an increase of 0.5 percentage points from 72% (rounded) in 2024.
In grammar, punctuation and spelling, 73% of pupils met the expected standard, up from 72% in 2024.
