Moving to Arbor (April 2022)
In April 2022, Holwell will be moving from the School Gateway and SIMS system to a new system called Arbor from the 1st April 2022.

Our aim is for our parents and carers to feel as much a part of their child’s education as possible and we feel this move will enable us to communicate with parents in the safest and most efficient way. The Arbor Parent Portal and App gives you access to your child’s attendance, messages and payments and to book after school clubs and parents evening. Through the Parent Portal you can see further details about your child’s attendance and are able to update key information about your child.
This is a huge transition and as a school, we are ensuring regular communication takes place with parents to ensure everyone is aware of the changes taking place. Please support us with this change by taking time to read the information and to follow the guidance provided by us.
What do you need to do now?
- Once we have migrated our data to the new system you will receive an email which will explain the programme and how you will log on. Please ensure we have the correct email address for you by logging onto the Sims Parent app.
- Breakfast and after school club bookings and payments for the period Wednesday 20th April to Friday 29th April will need to be made via School Gateway by 12:00pm Friday 1st April. No additional bookings will be able to be made for this period after this date. The new booking system on Arbor for after school club and breakfast club will then open on Tuesday 19th April for any bookings from Tuesday 3rd May onwards.
